Tuscany and Umbria tour

Spend a week exploring the most famous cities in Tuscany and Umbria Italy, with an experienced Italian guide from Florence who speaks English fluently. Enjoy days spent wine tasting and visiting small towns in two of Italy’s most beautiful and “talked about” regions.
SaturdayDepart Florence and spend a half-day in the famous Tuscan wine region of Chianti. Includes wine-tasting. Group will arrive to their accommodation in the Tuscan countryside (farm stay holiday or as they say in Italian agroturismo) in the afternoon.
SundayVisit the famous Tuscan towns of San Gimignano and Siena and experience life in “small” town Italy.
MondayVisit lesser known, more authentic, Tuscan towns of Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano. Includes visiting a winery and wine tasting.
TuesdayCheck out of Agriturismo in Tuscany. Head to Umbria with a stop in Cortona (made famous by Francis Mayes and her book Under the Tuscan Sun) and the small town of Todi. Check in to agroturism in Umbria in the afternoon.

Full day spent in Perugia, Italy’s chocolate capital and university town; and Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis.
ThursdayDay spent in Umbrian towns of Spoleto e Foligno.
FridayCheck out of agroturismo in Umbria and return to Florence by way of Orvieto.
Includes 6 nights accommodation with breakfast (Saturday – Friday); 3 nights in Tuscany, 3 nights in Umbria (single or double occupancy), English speaking tour guide, driver, transportation by bus.
